Happy Valentine's Day everyone! On this special day, you should share this podcast with those you love the most. Our episode was recorded live and can you believe we hit #41?! Us either.

We kick things off by talking about the Super Bowl commercials. USA Today had a ranking and Nicole had some issues with their choices. Dan's favorite AND least favorite had something in common and we chatted about that. At some point, we also talked about Dan's time working at an airport, and there was a helicopter tie-in to that story, which I am pretty sure happened during this segment.

What on earth is a small order fee?!?! Tune in to hear Dan's story and how companies have found yet another way to rip us off.

Oh Costco, I love you but you need to set BOUNDRIES. A woman returned a couch after 2.5 years and they took it back. Dan is torn on whether we should hate this person but Nicole is pretty firm on her opinion.

Someone stole a 200-foot RADIO STATION TOWER, and there are a lot of questions we have about several aspects of that story. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Remember quiet quitting?? Well the boss is fighting back with something called "Quiet Cutting." Watch people's jobs get cut, but they get offered something lesser by their employer. The Man is always looking for ways to screw the worker bee.

A woman turned 116 (you read that right) and they had a parade. Is this a good idea?? Celebrate sure, but is it just asking for trouble for that person's life span?

Elmo asked the internet how everyone was doing and BOY did they unload. So much so that the official Sesame Street Twitter account (I know it is X now, but you know what I mean) commented with a mental health service line. Thanks for caring, Elmo!

A raccoon killed the power for 7,000 people. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE in the year 2024?!

Welcome to episode 39 of the Still Spinning Podcast. For this week's challenge, who will cough into the microphone without muting first?? You will have to give this one a listen to see.

There is a British wildlife park that has an issue with some parrots who like to say really profane things and they have a rehab plan. Dan and Nicole are not so convinced this plan will work but would love to see it if it fails. Also some missed income opportunities at that park, we discuss a few of them.

Amazon Prime has begun showing commercials and will continue to do so unless you pay them MORE MONEY. Dan has some choice words and even contemplates leaving the service. How much does he use his Amazon Prime account?? We discuss.

Would you be alarmed if you were in a public restroom and the lights went out and music started to play?! Most people would be, but some are asking for it to happen. Push the red button and find out the deal.

And finally, there is a zoo in Japan that used a human dressed in a bear suit to practice what would happen if a bear were to escape. People were shocked. Nicole tells a story of someone in a bear costume that she says is one of the funniest things she has ever seen.

Nicole, along those same lines, has discovered a new "coaching" position being offered. It's even worse than "Life coach".

Old and busted: Checking your dog's DNA to see exactly what type of dog it is. New hotness: Tracking your dog's DNA to make sure you are cleaning up its poop.

The two cicada hatches are merging this year in the Midwest, and it will be bad. Think end of days plague bad.

Welcome to episode 37 of the Still Spinning Podcast. Just a reminder, most (if not all) of our regular episodes are being done LIVE so you can always tune in and participate in the comments section. You may notice Dan sounds different. He is sick but I assure you, it is him! We kick this episode off by discussing one of the strangest workout classes I have ever heard of - Clown Cardio. You read that correctly. It is an exercise class that uses clowning, improv, mime and theater games to work out. I am scared and quite honestly, I do not get it. Maybe I will have to go to LA to take a class.

Do you know those over-the-highway LED signs that often say funny things to stress the importance of things like not speeding, not texting while driving, and telling you to wear your seatbelt?! Well, say goodbye to the ones that make you laugh because the government is cracking down on any pop-culture references and humor in the signs. Why you may ask?? You will have to tune in to find out.

The 20-something TikTok generation has come up with another discussion-worthy topic - using DM (direct messages) from strangers to test your significant other's commitment to you. Some groups are not doing so well. The most shocking thing I learned during this segment is that Dan does not like it when the younger ladies laugh at his shows. Surely that cannot be right, you may be saying to yourself. It is and tune in to hear Dan talk all about it.

Welcome to episode 36 of the Still Spinning Podcast! Nicole and Dan were bracing for the first real winter storm of the year but for some reason, the Dan Deibert Weather Center was not at high alert. Very interesting start to our longest episode yet.

If you are about to travel on a plane, a 737 to be exact, there may be some reason for concern. Actually, you should be fine as they have all been grounded for inspection after a DOOR BLEW OFF shortly after takeoff. We discuss this as well as aviation safety in general and Dan is incredibly impressed by at least one aspect of this story. Which one? Tune in to see.

Oh the Golden Globes were Sunday night and boy, they are NOT being well reviewed. Dan knows the host! We talk about hosting a show like this and make some of our own observations and jokes about the whole thing.

Nicole saw a Facebook post about a "Sh*tty Tipper" board in a bar and she is all for it! This leads to a discussion on public shaming and tipping. Nicole thinks there is not scenario in which you tip NOTHING, Dan has some questions about that.

Julia Roberts has a new Netflix movie out about a new type of disaster. What happens if we lose the internet and all computers? How screwed would we be?? Would some be worse off? No idea if the movie itself is any good but the premise is terrifying.

There is a new way to judge a man's "member" and it ties to a story about an aquarium at a Bass Pro Shop. This one had us laughing pretty hard.
