Welcome to episode 37 of the Still Spinning Podcast. Just a reminder, most (if not all) of our regular episodes are being done LIVE so you can always tune in and participate in the comments section. You may notice Dan sounds different. He is sick but I assure you, it is him! We kick this episode off by discussing one of the strangest workout classes I have ever heard of - Clown Cardio. You read that correctly. It is an exercise class that uses clowning, improv, mime and theater games to work out. I am scared and quite honestly, I do not get it. Maybe I will have to go to LA to take a class.
Do you know those over-the-highway LED signs that often say funny things to stress the importance of things like not speeding, not texting while driving, and telling you to wear your seatbelt?! Well, say goodbye to the ones that make you laugh because the government is cracking down on any pop-culture references and humor in the signs. Why you may ask?? You will have to tune in to find out.
The 20-something TikTok generation has come up with another discussion-worthy topic - using DM (direct messages) from strangers to test your significant other's commitment to you. Some groups are not doing so well. The most shocking thing I learned during this segment is that Dan does not like it when the younger ladies laugh at his shows. Surely that cannot be right, you may be saying to yourself. It is and tune in to hear Dan talk all about it.
